Each pad manufacturer's pads are different so organic pads from two suppliers would have different characteristics, however there are a few general statements you can make about the major types of brake pads:

Organic (or resin) - softer compound, no metal compounds, better braking efficiency, less heat generated but higher wear rate especially in rain and mud

Sintered - metal pad, longest life but can squeal and generate the most heat

Semi-metallic - mixed metal and organic, compromise between organic and sintered, usually the best option

The right pad for you depends on your riding style, the riding conditions you usually ride in (dry, wet, muddy etc.) and finally your preference.

I have always used sintered pads - they may squeal a little but they certainly last the longest.
