Does anyone have a good way to do this?

Usually the biggest issue with this conversion, is as the disjointed picture illustrates. The frame is not designed for this. However, with today’s technology and all the clever people that work on bikes, you get a bracket that attaches to the frame, in the bracket where the disjointed cable housing would have gone, and has a sort of clip, similar to the continuous cable seen in the figure above, that the cable housing can clip into.

I currently have this on my bike as I have converted to hydraulic brakes, and the frame was designed for mech brakes.

I will post a pic in the morning.
